I'm hoping to sight in and load up some Hornady Hangdgun Hunter rounds in my SRH for my backup gun this season.

I may be doing some reloading, provided I can find the materials. What is your opinion on 630 versus 2400 powder? My Hornady book shows a load getting 1300fps with 19.6 gr of 630 with a 240 grain hollow point. 1200 at 18 gr.

Also I'm looking in Midway and searching for 630 or 2400 and not finding it. H110 comes up by old Hornady book doesn't show a load for that.

Especially hornady 240 grain XTP! Sorry it took so long to respond I?m using my Daughter?s computer as mine burnt up in my house along with pretty much everything elseI own .I did get all my F.A.s out of there and my best rifles but everything else including ammo and reloading gear is gone.I?m still going hunting this fall but probably won?t be back up to speed for a few months.
